Previously, Dr. Spangler was chief medical officer at Partnership for Prevention and public health and health policy consultant at Pfizer Inc. Dr. Spangler is a Fellow of the American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM) and serves on the Board of Regents of ACPM and as the ACPM’s Alternate Delegate to the American Medical Association. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Pharmacy Quality Alliance and on the Advisory Board of the University of Michigan Center for Value-Based Insurance Design. Dr. Spangler graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and received his MD at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. He completed internal medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh and preventive medicine residency at the Johns Hopkins, where he was chief resident. He is board certified in general preventive medicine/public health. |
