Looking ahead, we are excited to announce dates for the 2024 Leadership Summit, as well as the 2025 and 2026 Annual Meetings. We know you have busy schedules and many meetings to attend throughout the year. This will help you plan far in advance, so that you don't miss any PQA events!

Vanderbilt Specialty Pharmacy has harnessed the power of patient monitoring tools for managing inflammatory bowel disease and other chronic conditions. Following a few guiding principles can smooth the journey, two of the health system’s data management experts noted during the NASP 2023 Annual Meeting & Expo: “When examining this problem, we started by defining our goal, which was to identify this patient population earlier so the specialty pharmacist could intervene before the patients experienced that denied refill renewal."
Improving Outcomes for Medicare Advantage Beneficiaries
Humana Medicare Advantage beneficiaries receiving care under value-based arrangements had better health outcomes, including fewer inpatient admissions and emergency room visits, a report from the payer indicated. Medicare Advantage beneficiaries receiving value-based care were also more likely to adhere to their medications for conditions like diabetes and hypertension.
Reducing Food Insecurity and Promoting Health Living
Hy-Vee Inc. is collaborating with Soda Health to reduce food insecurity and promote healthy living. Through the program, recipients can receive personalized benefits in areas such as fresh produce, over-the-counter pharmacy items, clinical services, and nutritional counseling. Recipients will also receive personalized health support, including reminders about health screenings, vaccinations, prescription refills and information about medical supplies that relate to their specific health conditions.
