Elizabeth Himes, MPH

Senior Program Manager, Quality Innovation and Research Center

 

Elizabeth Himes, MPH, is the Senior Program Manager, Quality Innovation and Research Center at Pharmacy Quality Alliance (PQA). As a member of the Quality Innovation and Research Center (QuIRC) team, Himes works collaboratively with multiple PQA teams to coordinate the alignment of QuIRC initiatives with PQA’s mission, identify project interdependencies, and enhance relationships with stakeholders. She manages projects and workflows, supports the development of standard operating procedures, and coordinates engagement with stakeholders.

Prior to joining PQA, Himes was a Consultant at The Lewin Group, part of Optum Serve, where she was a guideline lead for the Veterans Affairs/Department of Defense Evidence-based Clinical Practice Guidelines. She additionally supported the development of technical assistance products, including webinars, podcasts, and assessments, for CMS’ Medicare-Medicaid Coordination office. She also previously worked with membership associations at the Society of Interventional Radiology, where she supported evidence-based document development and quality initiatives. She is a co-author of seven articles and one abstract in peer-reviewed journals.

Himes received her master of public health from the University of New England and her bachelor's in neuroscience from the College of William and Mary.

A native Virginian, Himes enjoys spending her free time outdoors hiking and gardening. She is also a singer and enjoys participating in a variety of performance arts.
