Amenia Army, CAE, CPCMember & Stakeholder Engagement Manager
Amenia Army, CAE, CPC, is the Manager, Member & Stakeholder Engagement at Pharmacy Quality Alliance (PQA). She joins the Education, Engagement, and Convening team, where she advances strategic initiatives that strengthen member engagement, retention, and satisfaction. Prior to joining PQA, Amenia served as Fund Development Manager at a Detroit, MI, nonprofit organization, directing corporate sponsorship strategies, cultivating donor relationships, and implementing fundraising campaigns. Earlier in her career, Amenia spent over a decade at HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) as Senior Manager of Corporate Relations, overseeing a diverse portfolio of corporate members and leading onboarding and engagement strategies that significantly improved retention and strengthened partnerships. During her tenure with the HIMSS Electronic Health Record Association (EHRA), she played a pivotal role in optimizing governance processes and driving member participation across strategic committees. Amenia holds a BA in Corporate Communications from the University of Michigan–Dearborn. Her professional credentials include the Certified Association Executive (CAE)designation, Certified Professional Coach (CPC)certification, and a Certificate in Change Management. She is also a dedicated volunteer leader with the Association of Fundraising Professionals – Greater Detroit Chapter, where she currently serves as Chair of the Membership Committee. Known for her collaborative spirit, Amenia is passionate about creating meaningful member experiences and driving mission-focused engagement across sectors.
