Amal Elmi, MPA

Amal Elmi serves as the Senior Program Manager at PQA. In this role, she works collaboratively across all departments to support pipeline projects within PQA’s Quality Innovation and Research Center (QuIRC), which aims to accelerate progress in medication use quality focused on the next generation of quality measurement, novel strategies to improve quality, and efficient strategies to address complex measurement needs.

Prior to joining PQA, Elmi worked for the MassHealth Quality Office—a department within the Massachusetts State Medicaid Agency—where she focused on measurement, quality improvement initiatives, and program audits. Elmi has over 13 years of experience spearheading projects, programs, operations, and continuous improvements.

Elmi earned her Master of Public Administration and Health Policy from Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts. 

For fun Amal likes to go to farmers markets, enjoys trying different ethnic foods, and attempting to cook ethnic foods.
