Tammy Malm, PharmD, MPH, BCPS

Tammy Malm, PharmD, MPH, BCPS, joins the Education, Engagement, and Convening team as Director, Education and will lead the strategy and delivery of PQA’s educational activities as well direct its student and professional programs.  Prior to joining PQA, Malm was an ambulatory care clinical pharmacist and assistant professor at the University of Saint Joseph School of Pharmacy, and a clinical pharmacist at Optum, working the STARs program for Pennsylvania and Delaware.

Throughout her career, Malm has served in leadership and leadership education across several organizations. After a PGY2 in Health System Pharmacy Administration at Yale New Haven Hospital, she served as Treasurer, Chair-Elect and Chair of the Clinical Administration PRN of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, as well as the Junior and Senior Board members of the Connecticut Society of Health-System Pharmacists. She has gained extensive experience precepting pharmacy students and pharmacy residents throughout each career step.

Malm earned her doctor of pharmacy and master of public health from the University of Kentucky. She completed her PGY1 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina and PGY2 in Health System Pharmacy Administration at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut. She currently resides in Philadelphia with her family, and is probably planning her next house project as you read this.
