Senior Research Associate

 

Jenny Bingham, PharmD, BCACP, FAzPA, FNAP, is a Senior Research Associate at the Pharmacy Quality Alliance (PQA). A member of the performance measurement and research team, Bingham supports the Quality Innovation and Research Center to develop evidence to support quality medication use, evaluate the impact of policies and PQA measures on medication use quality, and identify gaps in quality medication use.  

Prior to joining PQA, Bingham served as faculty at the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy and as an advanced practice pharmacist for a federally qualified health center. Before that, she was President of Research Strategy with Tabula Rasa HealthCare, a nationally recognized medication therapy management organization, where she was responsible for creating and leveraging the research portfolio to secure grant program funding related to medication quality and safety. A board-certified ambulatory care pharmacist, with additional training in psychiatric pharmacy, her experience includes over 14 years launching innovative award-winning programs aimed to improve patient safety for vulnerable populations. 

Bingham received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Arizona. A Distinguished Practitioner and Fellow of the National Academies of Practice, she serves on the Pharmacy Academy to promote interprofessional collaboration. She is also an active member of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA), previously serving on the Telehealth Advisory Committee, and is currently serving on the APhA Foundation’s Women in Pharmacy Committee.

Located in Arizona, Bingham spends her free time traveling and exploring new recipes from around the world with her husband and children.
