Elizabeth Dowdy, MPHSenior Program Manager, Quality Innovation and Research Center
Prior to joining PQA, Dowdy was a Consultant at The Lewin Group, part of Optum Serve, where she was a guideline lead for the Veterans Affairs/Department of Defense Evidence-based Clinical Practice Guidelines. She additionally supported the development of technical assistance products, including webinars, podcasts, and assessments, for CMS’ Medicare-Medicaid Coordination office. She also previously worked with membership associations at the Society of Interventional Radiology, where she supported evidence-based document development and quality initiatives. She is a co-author of seven articles and one abstract in peer-reviewed journals. Dowdy received her master of public health from the University of New England and her bachelor's in neuroscience from the College of William and Mary. A native Virginian, Dowdy enjoys spending her free time outdoors hiking and gardening. She is also a singer and enjoys participating in a variety of performance arts. .
