Carolyn Lockwood, MSN, RN

Director, Performance Measurement 


Carolyn Lockwood, MSN, RN, serves as Director of Performance Measurement at Pharmacy Quality Alliance (PQA). Carolyn works with the Performance Measurement Team to update and maintain existing PQA measures. Additionally, she provides expertise and supports measure development and the consensus-based endorsement process at PQA. 

Prior to joining PQA, Lockwood worked at Health Services Advisory Group (HSAG) to assess measure gaps and led a team responsible for developing a de novo tool to assist CMS in assessing quality measures. Carolyn has been responsible for maintaining and developing clinician and facility-level quality measures for use in federal and internal quality programs. She has a background in informatics working to implement, manage, analyze and optimize the use of electronic health data to improve patient care and clinician experience. She also has a background in critical care nursing.

Lockwood has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama Huntsville and a Masters of Science in Nursing Informatics from Walden University.

She enjoys camping, hiking and spending time with her grandchildren in her spare time,
