Brianna DeWitty, MPH

Research Associate


Brianna DeWitty, MPH, is the Research Associate at Pharmacy Quality Alliance (PQA). She evaluates structural barriers and social determinants of health and how these factors affect the measurement quality landscape. Her work with disparities in the PQA Convenes environmental scans and literature reviews promotes equitable measure development. She also assists with data management and data analysis. 

Prior to joining PQA, Brianna worked in the healthcare setting for several years as both as medical scribe and certified nursing assistant in the emergency department, nursing home, and private medical practice settings. In 2021 she returned to University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill (UNC) to obtain her Master of Public Health. Her area of focus during this time was social epidemiology and she worked with the Department of Sociology to provide substance abuse prevention programming to middle school students. She completed the MPH Practicum at PQA in 2022 and continues to support the development of equitable quality measures with the research team. 

She enjoys music, hiking, kayaking, and reading. While she does enjoy cooking and baking, she does not enjoy washing the dishes after.
