Get Trained to Save a Life at the 2019 PQA Annual Meeting!

The 2019 PQA Annual Meeting features a special pre-meeting activity: a Naloxone Training Session on Wednesday, May 15, from 1:00-2:30 p.m. ET. (The annual meeting formally kicks off at 3:30 p.m. ET.) 

This timely, relevant and hands-on workshop will demonstrate assembly and use of an intranasal naloxone kit and a naloxone autoinjector in a simulated opioid overdose. 

Naloxone training sessionWe also will discuss the role of caregivers, healthcare professionals and others who may see overdoses in motels, high school hallways, department store restrooms, inside cars, or on the roadside and at some time be called into action. Naloxone will be dispensed at no cost to everyone who completes the training and is interested in receiving it. The workshop is open to all Annual Meeting attendees.
