Meghan Hufstader Gabriel, PhD, serves as the Director of Measurement Science and Analytics where she is actively involved in measure testing, analytics and research to support the measure development and implementation process. 

Prior to joining PQA, Meghan worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Central Florida, where she was responsible for conducting research and teaching biostatistics, health economics, research methods and analytics for quality measurement. Meghan previously worked at the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT as an economist, conducting analyses to describe and understand the factors driving adoption, meaningful use and the value of health information technology as it relates to health outcomes. Her experience also includes work for Covance, a drug development services company, as an associate consultant. Meghan brings to PQA knowledge of outcomes research, health information technology and pharmaceutical policy.

Meghan holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and a doctorate from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
