There are plenty of opportunities to participate in upcoming PQA convening events. Registration is open for the 2025 PQA Leadership Summit and the summit’s pre-meeting event, PQA Convenes: Artificial Intelligence in Medication Use Quality, on November 13-14, in Arlington, Va. We are also accepting breakout session and poster abstract proposals for the 2026 PQA Annual Meeting, May 12-14 in Baltimore, Md.
The annual meeting will cover a wide range of topics, and we look forward to your submissions, particularly those that feature case studies, innovative practices, and emerging trends, as they will contribute to our collaborative learning experience. Learn how to submit proposals below. .

The Joint Commission of Pharmacy Practitioners released the 2025 Pharmacists' Patient Care Process (PPCP), an update to the 2014 PPCP that reflects pharmacists' contemporary practice and evolving trends in the health care system. The revised 2025 PPCP offers a current and comprehensive framework for pharmacists to provide person-centered care across all pharmacy practice settings.
Exploring Trends in Pharmacy-Based Testing
A session at NACDS Total Store Expo explored the latest innovations, research, global insights and strategic efforts to accelerate pharmacy-based testing and treatment services nationwide. The panel featuring Walmart and Washington State University College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences discussed the landscape of pharmacy-based testing and treatment services, highlighting the growth and momentum in this area.
Rethinking Medication Adherence Solutions
Pharmacists are turning to personalized patient-centered care and connecting patients with peers and community-based organizations to improve medication adherence. Newer technologies such as smartphone apps and artificial intelligence are also being embraced to flag nonadherence and provide intervention. Experts from the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy and PerformRx share their perspectives.

PQA invites breakout session and poster abstract proposals for the 2026 PQA Annual Meeting. A broad range of topics will be presented during breakout sessions and poster presentations at the 2026 PQA Annual Meeting, which will take place in Baltimore, Md., May 12-14y.
