Registration is open for the 2025 PQA Leadership Summit, November 13-14, in Arlington, Va. This year’s summit will focus on Blueprint PQA 2030, PQA’s strategic plan that is in development and will guide the organization’s work from 2026 through 2030. The summit will leverage PQA members’ expertise to inform the strategies and tactics needed to successfully implement the plan.
Members are also invited to attend the summit’s pre-meeting event, PQA Convenes: Artificial Intelligence in Medication Use Quality. This event will bring PQA members and the health technology community together to explore AI and quality in medication use. Learn more about the summit below.

Care gaps in women’s health are closing, thanks to increased cultural awareness of gendered health care disparities, according to Susan Cantrell, CEO of AMCP. She detailed the ongoing need to address health care disparities and the critical role managed care pharmacy professionals play in advancing women’s health.
Transitioning to Clinical Services
Outcomes' Stephanie Downing shared insights on the challenges, opportunities and technological solutions driving transformation in pharmacy services. She also illuminated the complex landscape of clinical service expansion, highlighting how pharmacies can leverage technology, overcome operational barriers, and create new revenue streams while improving patient care.
Modernizing Clinical Services With AI
Walgreens Chief Pharmacy Officer Rick Gates explored the future of pharmacy practices and how modern use of technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) are becoming commonplace. Through the utilization of AI, micro-fulfillment centers, and omni-channel care, retail storefronts like Walgreens are streamlining the future of pharmacy to be modernized and patient-focused.
Summit Focused on Blueprint PQA 2030
PQA is developing its next strategic plan, Blueprint PQA 2030, which will guide the organization’s work from 2026 through 2030. The proposed goals build on and continue key elements of PQA’s current strategic plan, Blueprint PQA 2025 and will be the focus of the 2025 PQA Leadership Summit.

The Key Contact from each PQA member organization receives the registration information to attend the Leadership Summit. PQA allows two individuals from each PQA member organization to attend.
